Hello fellow Bloggers!
The time has come to get this blog up and running and therefore here is a little introduction to our group and intentions for this module.
Our group, under the current (and rather snazzy) title of “Viva Team Vegas” – although this may change – consists of myself (Hayley Arnold), James Hallam, Ashton Rains, Thomas Quinn, Charlotte Truscott and Jenn Elliott. Between us we will be dividing the role of Director and Dramaturge, yet each member of the team will take the lead in sections such as lighting, sound and costume.
We intend to produce a contemporary re-imagining of George Buchner’s Leonce and Lena – but there’ll be more about that soon!
Throughout the module we’ll be bringing you updates from our creative and rehearsal processes, including pictures, videos and of course the occasional chat about Dramaturgy.
The rehearsal schedule has been planned, the parts have been cast and the ideas are flowing, this all bodes very well and has definately got us all a bit giddy and excited about the project!
