Inspiration for the costume of Lena
For Lena’s Costume I wanted it to be similar to Leonce, because they are both in the same situation. I wanted them to reflect their connections to the audience from the word go. As Leonce’s character design is heavily influenced by music throughout this play I wanted Lena’s character to be as well. Her costume thought process was based on her character type which is shy and innocent, but she also has a mean tough side. The influences for Lena’s costume would be loosely based around ideas of Sandra Dee and up-to-date high street Fashion.
