We made it!

So, here we are. The final push.

With a week to go until the final performance, all staging and blocking of the play is complete, lines are almost entirely learnt and the costumes and props are coming together nicely.

We had a really great few hours rehearsal today, very productive in terms of allowing us, as a group, to watch, evaluate and deconstruct each scene and to fine tune them together.

This is all smashing news as it means we can now crack on with repeatedly running the whole piece and putting it all together with costumes, props, lighting etc.

We shall continue to add photos from throughout the rehearsal process and shall soon be posting a few character bios, as a little insight into the characters of our piece. Not only that, but we shall be posting some research into Buchner himself and the origional Leonce and Lena playtext – along with a look at some previous performances.

Personally I’d like to say a big thankyou to my group for their effort and enthusiam so far, I am every day, more excited to see this peformance come together and be let loose upon the stage!

Onwards!

Hayley.
