Valerie’s Costume Inspiation

 Valerie is Leonce’s right hand woman. She has a very big soft spot for him but he doesn’t realise that. I wanted Valerie to be Tom-boyish with a girly twist. The inspiration was from Scot Pilgrim Vs the Worlds character Ramona Flowers; the twist in this costume is that it is unusual to have a female right hand man. I liked the idea of twisting the role of male and female like in William Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’.
